What DYBBS provides

DYBBS is software for listing personal property and dividing it between people using blind bidding and turn-based selection, together with optional administration by our staff.

We provide the process and the records. Decisions about who takes part, what is included and how the results are acted on remain with the family, the executor or trustee, or the parties to a settlement.

Valuations are estimates, not appraisals

Estimated market values shown in the app are generated to help people make fair comparisons. They are not formal appraisals and must not be relied on for tax, insurance or court valuation purposes.

Arrange a professional appraisal for high-value, antique or specialist items.

We are not lawyers or fiduciaries

Nothing on this site or in the service is legal, tax or financial advice. Using DYBBS does not create an attorney-client relationship and does not make us a fiduciary of any estate or party.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details private and let us know promptly if you believe someone else has access to your account.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you or your invited participants upload, and for having the right to upload it.

Acceptable use

Do not use DYBBS to list property you have no right to distribute, to harass other participants, or to attempt to access another family's division.

We may suspend an account that is being used in those ways.

Payment and refunds

Plan fees are one-time charges for the whole family and include a 24-month subscription period. Optional administrator services are charged separately at the rates shown on the pricing page.

If you have not started your division, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund the fee.

Limits of liability

The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be notified by email to account holders before they take effect.
